New Year, Quick Start

For those of us who work primarily in real estate, our year starts closer to the spring home-buying season. That’s when things really start to happen, in a good year. Even though it’s typically rather quiet in the first quarter, there is still work that can be done that will set you up for a great year.

The first thing we recommend mortgage lenders and real estate agents do is a brand audit. In the old days, this was a time-consuming and expensive process, when it was done right. Today, we have AI.

Companies like RBI Playbook, an outsourced data science firm, use sophisticated, layered prompts to find out what the media thinks of your firm, what the LLMs know about you and what your past customers are saying about you.

I’m not talking about online reviews, those are curated and don’t give you a clear picture. There are other places online where consumers come together to talk about our industry.

Best of all, AI makes it easy to find out what the world thinks of you and get a detailed plan of action to make it better.

If you’re interested in a low-cost brand audit that can help you get your new year off to a great start, reach out to us today. Note: RGA does not deliver this, but we can help you implement the plan of action.

Get on the Podcast Circuit

According to Podcast Hawk, business podcasting hit $31.1 billion in 2024 and is expected to reach $197.9 billion by 2037, growing 15.3% each year. That’s the kind of news that excites investors, but it also suggests something for business thought leaders.

People want more content, and whether it’s video podcasts at work or audio podcasts they enjoy during their commute, this spells opportunity for business leaders who need to find and attract new audiences.

Here are three tips for making the most of every podcast appearance.

  1. Be authentic. Don’t expect to read your marketing brochure on the air. You need to come across as a real person.
  2. Know your stuff. Make sure that the questions you are responding to line up with your job so you sound knowledgeable.
  3. Be helpful. If you come across as a person who is eager to help and support your customers, more people will want to work with you.

Ready to practice? RGA produces a number of podcasts. Reach out to us today and reserve your spot. We’ll work with you to make sure your appearance is successful and then, if you enjoy it, we can work together to get you featured on other podcasts.

It’s a great way to get exposure and present your company to more prospects.
